No. 21 Castledykes Road is an appealing semi-detached two bedroom property providing good sized accommodation over ground and first floor level. Easily maintained garden ground to front and rear with driveway for off-road parking.

No. 21 is situated in a popular residential area of Kirkcudbright a short distance from Kirkcudbright town centre, local schools and sports facilities.

Kirkcudbright is an attractive harbour town situated on the banks of the River Dee. The town itself is of historic and architectural interest with its ancient High Street, Tolbooth Arts Centre, Stewartry Museum and numerous galleries. Long frequented by artists, Kirkcudbright was home to the renowned artist, EA Hornel, one of the “Glasgow Boys”. This tradition is maintained today by a flourishing colony of painters and craft workers which has led to Kirkcudbright being named the “Artists’ Town”.

Kirkcudbright enjoys a wide variety of mainly family owned shops, pubs, hotels and restaurants, whilst offering a wide range of facilities, including its own golf course, marina, swimming pool and an active summer festivities programme, including its own Jazz Festival and Tattoo.

There is a driveway leading up the side of the house off Castledykes for off-road parking. There is a delightful, good-sized garden to the rear which features a large custom built, wooden storage shed which could easily be converted to use as a home office. There is a paved area to the rear with pockets of grass, shrubs and decorative pebbles. There is also an area of lawn to the front with a low hedge bordering Castledykes Road.
