About Richard:
Richard is from the West of the region and lives in Stranraer. He trained with a well-regarded Edinburgh firm and qualified in Scots Law in 2009, before qualifying in English Law in 2011. He spent a few years working in English Litigation before returning home to Scotland in 2013.
He joined Williamson and Henry in 2020 following some time in politics, teaching and business. Richard is the former Member of Parliament for Dumfries and Galloway and is also a fully qualified teacher & lecturer of business. He is well known within the local community and like Ian, feels very lucky to have found a local firm with such a strong reputation. Richard specialises in Property and Private Client matters for our clients at Williamson and Henry.
